The University of
Pittsburgh at Greensburg will present renowned epidemiologist
Donald S. Burke, MD, in a discussion entitled, "The Opioid
Epidemic: How did we get here, and what do we do now?" on Wednesday,
February 17. The program is FREE and open to the public.

Pitt-Greensburg
will offer three full-tuition scholarships will be offered to
freshmen students beginning their education in fall 2017. The
award will cover tuition only (in-state rate) for up to four years. This
prestigious scholarship has a value of more than $50,000.

Highlights
The Academic
Village, with the support from the Pitt Year of Diversity,
present comedian Maggie Maye as part of its Diverse Voices
Series. Following her comedy show, May will participate on a panel
of local artist, writers and musicians who will talk about using their

Pitt-Greensburg will host its annual performance of The Vagina
Monologues in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center. This
event raises awareness of sexual and domestic violence
as well as raising funds for local and national charities.
